What it does

The new graphing UI brings visual clarity to inequality problems. Students can now plot inequalities and interact with the graph to select the shaded solution region. This helps them connect algebraic concepts to visual representations—no more memorizing shading rules without context. The update also improves the look and feel for everyone using the join and admin interfaces.

How it works

  1. Add a graphing question to your resource

  2. Choose inequality as the equation type

  3. Students can draw and adjust the inequality line

  4. They select the correct solution region by shading it in

  5. You get clear data on their reasoning—not just the final answer

Example in action

Your 8th grade algebra students are solving systems of inequalities. One student draws the lines correctly, but struggles to figure out which region matches all the inequalities. Now, they can try out different shaded areas on the graph and get real-time feedback. That hands-on exploration builds deeper understanding—and tells you a lot more than a standard multiple-choice question ever could.
