What it does

Wayground now supports vertical and horizontal layouts for multiple-choice questions, so your students can read longer text and view wider images more easily. You can let Wayground auto-pick the best layout, or you can choose the layout yourself based on your resource.

How it works

  1. Create or edit a multiple-choice question

  2. Add your question text, answer choices, and (optional) image

  3. If your text is long, or your image is wide, Wayground automatically switches the layout to vertical

  4. Use the manual layout toggle any time to switch between horizontal and vertical

  5. Start a session or assign it—your students see the exact layout you set

Example in action

In 7th grade science, you post a question with a wide food web image and longer answer choices. Instead of students pinching, zooming, or misreading crowded options, the question shifts to a vertical layout that gives the image and text room to breathe. You get cleaner student responses because they can actually see what you meant them to see.
